2008: Sachin Tendulkar was the best player in the group. The team’s captain was Shaun Pollock, and they won six of their six games. During the most recent games, Sachin Tendulkar led the MI team to a sixth-place finish in the IPL standings. No one could have predicted that they would go on to win the IPL.

2010: Kieron Pollard was bought by the group. Sachin Tendulkar was at his best during this season. He was the first person in IPL history to win the orange cap. Even though the team won the semi-final (thanks to Pollard), the Chennai Super Kings beat them in the final by 22 runs. This was made possible by the opening batsman for the Chennai Super Kings.

2011: The Mumbai Indians kept Sachin Tendulkar, Pollard, Malinga, and Harbhajan. This year, Richard Sharma signed up for MI. In 2011, the team won the Eliminator round but lost in the qualifying final to Royal Challengers Bangalore. 2012: The stand-in captain was named Harbhajan. The MI team lost by 38 runs in the Eliminator round.

2013: Ricky joined MI and was named the team’s captain. Ricky quit in the middle of the season, and Rohit Sharma became the first Indian captain. Sachin Tendulkar said he was leaving cricket. The IPL trophy was won for the first time by the Mumbai Indians. The CLT-20 trophy went to the MI team.

2014: Zaheer Khan joined the team again. The MI team was in the group that qualified for CLT-20. The team made it to the playoffs, but they lost to the Chennai Super Kings in the elimination round.

2015: Hardik Pandya and Mitchell McClenaghan joined the MI team, and as soon as they did, they made a big difference. The team’s last nine games were all wins, and they won the IPL title for the second time.

2016: Krunal Pandya joined MI. Pollard did a great job against the RCB. The team came in fifth place.

2017: Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Pollard, and Mitchell Jhonson all did a great job. The team won its third IPL championship.

2018: Lasith Malinga became the team’s bowling coach. The team ended up in fifth place.

2019: MI won the IPL title for the fourth time and became the first team to win 100 matches.

2020: Rohit Sharma played in his 150th Indian Premier League match, where he scored one of the highest runs by a batsman in IPL history. The IPL title was won for the fifth time by the MI team.

2021: Before the COVID-19 pandemic, MI had a good start to the IPL 2021 season. They won four of their first seven games. After the league moved to the United Arab Emirates, the Mumbai Indians lost a lot of ground in the standings. They were only able to win three out of seven games, which put them in fifth place in the IPL 2021 points table.

2022: The worst season for Mumbai Indians was IPL 2022, when they finished with the fewest points out of 10 teams.

The Mumbai Indians have won the IPL four times and have one of the largest fan bases.

Keiron Pollard, Rohit Sharma, Quinto de Cook, the Pandya brothers, and Sachin Tendulkar have all played for the franchise cricket team of Mumbai Indians (MI). Rohit Sharma is also a great fielder. He made many great catches for the Mumbai Indians when the game was on the line. He is a big reason why Mumbai Indians have become one of the best cricket teams in India.

Hardik Pandya

Another great player on the Mumbai Indians team is Hardik Pandya. He bowls fast and has scored a lot of important runs for his team.

Since 2015, Hardik Pandya has been on the Mumbai Indians team. In that time, he has helped the team win a number of important trophies. He was also on the Indian cricket team, which won some important games.

Hardik Pandya is a very good player, and as captain of the Gujarat Titans team, he is sure to keep doing well. He is a very important part of the Indian Premier League, and he will help them win more trophies in the future.

Quinton de Kock

Jasprit Bumrah
